Hoi An Eco excursions

The Jack Tran, Eco excursions in Hoi An is a special treat. It is a great way to spend time with the local people as they show and explain their daily jobs and routines. A lot of work is still done the same way it has been done for years. We finished with a couple that is in their 70s and still fishes every day. We took a wonderful bicycle ride across the rice fields and met an elderly woman who still plants, rice, and vegetables in her yard every day.

We got to take a ride on a water buffalo out into the rice fields to give us an idea of what it's like to work the rice field deep in water.
